1963 Toyota FJ40
straight frame, no modifications. Body in good shape.
Has 2 front seats and 2 rear benches, seats total of 6 people.
I owned this vehicle for about 3 years and it has a clear Nevada title.
It is a true FJ40 with an off-center rear axle. It is currently not driven daily but I run it every other week for a few miles.
The vehicle is in excellent shape and rust free. It is complete, drivable
and comes with some extra parts I collected during the last 3 years.

Engine:
stock 237 cubic inches
straight 6 cylinder F-engine (not 2F) with 3 speed transmission with floor shift kit. All gages
working. Vacuum transfer case shifter works. No fluid leaks in cooling,
engine,
transmission and axles. Heater and defroster works. New sheet metal piece from
Techfab welded
under rear doors.
Vehicle has stock hard top and rear spare tire carrier. I replaced the
fuel tank, wind shield and rubber after I purchased it in 99 with a new
parts. The front seats are new in Apr-02, the
rear benches
have been
redone in black vinyl with new foam from a local shop to match the new front seats.
Both door seals are replaced with new seals in May-02. I recently flushed the radiator and refilled with fresh anti freeze,
replaced bypass hose.
I also rebuild the brake and clutch master cylinders, changed all hydraulic
fluids and replaced various other rubber parts in Feb-02. In May 2002 I
purchased new running boards. Some of the images below are
without the boards but they are painted and mounted already. |

Work
needed:
Before you drive it across the US I would give it a lube job
and a tune up.
The carburetor is functional, however a rebuild would most likely improve
performance. A rebuild kit is provided.

| I can deliver the vehicle
on a flatbed trailer if needed within
the US for 50 cents/mile prepaid one way.
That means you live in Los Angeles, one way is 260mls, delivery would cost $130.
To figure your distance, go to
MapQuest
and map from ZIP 89119 to your ZIP code using "Get Driving Directions".
If you like to have it shipped over long distances the 50 cents per mile may add
up fast and a professional shipping service may save you a buck or two. The
