Racing in the desert and communication support:

Twice a year I provide public service by supporting desert races organized by "The Best in the Desert" racing organization.   You can read more about the race or see more pictures at:  http://www.bitd.com.

In 1998 we supported 2 races.  Brian KJ7VN and Tom W7ETR and I went out and had a great time.  In 1999 Tom W7ETR joint in and we went out in the middle of nowhere and set up a pretty decent "mobile" station.

I stopped this in 2000 when I started y own business.  I may return to racing one day, but I am not sure yet...
